Can't Pick Just 1

So... I've taken so many neat or important pics over the past week and I couldn't decide on just a few to share (I know... you're upset about all these new pics) so you get to see lots of them.

The first picture you see is from last night. Can you see anything different about Tegan? Here's a hint... Tegan no longer resembles a hockey player from behind... or how bout the whole business in front-party in back is just not cool. Could you guess? We got rid of the hockey-hair/mullet. YES, Tegan had his first haircut. We decided that he'd like to be like Daddy, so we buzzed it... guys, if you're curious, it was the 3/4" attachment.

Ok, on to the next pic... T's obsessed with mugs, especially when they are the one Daddy or Mommy is using. So we now give him one whenever one or both of us has a mug. Here's Tegan practicing drinking from a mug... who cares if it's upside-down. :)OK, so I said T is obsessed with mugs, I lied. It's really drinking from his sippy that he loves... especially juice. He now drinks an entire sippy-cup of juice-water mix between dinner and bed every night. He starts getting really upset when he notices that a sippy isn't within reach and/or sight so I'm trying to teach him the sign for more. So far he just points, which is better than nothing, but I need to find out what the sign for juice is (hopefully it's a relatively easy one). Does anyone who reads this have the Baby Einstein Baby Signs video? Would love to hear what you think about it.

Oh... and here's what happens when we wait a little too long to start getting ready for bed... it's kinda funny cause Tegan just shuts down but at the same time it breaks my heart to see him so upset.

This next pic is just a cute one of Tegan and Daddy having fun together. :)

Remember a few posts back when I talked about how Tegan will push anything that moves??? Well, here's him at our play-date last Saturday pushing the babydoll stroller. I was just hoping that the owner of the stroller (a 14 month old) wouldn't see Tegan and get upset. HA!

Like I just mentioned, we had a play-date on Saturday... a pretty big one as you can see. Yes, 9 kids in all and we somehow managed to get them ALL in a picture together. The ages ranged from 9 weeks to 2 1/2 years though most of the babies were between 9 and 13 months. It was really cute to see how the kids would notice each other and play together for a while (very short while) but for the most part the did their own thing. It'll be SO fun to keep getting this group together over the coming months and years and see how they develop individually and together as friends.

HA! I told myself that I won't post any complete butt shots on here (and for sure no frontal nakedness) but I thought a little peek wouldn't hurt anyone, right? Let's just say that Tegan got away from me while I was changing his diaper at Grandma and Grandpa Moore's house this weekend. It was TOO cute to watch.

Here's another fun time with Daddy... again, pushing stuff across the floor. This time, as you can see, it was the ottoman.
OK, that's it for the new pics... Hope you enjoyed them! Hope it's warmer when you are than where we are... I can tell you I'm praying that school gets canceled tomorrow due to the frigid temperatures. Not only for myself to have a day off, but it's just too dang cold for those kiddos to be waiting outside for their buses!

Love to all!

First Word(s)

Drinking out of the Big Boy cup
Tegan now "speaks." Yes, the man now says "Daddy" and only directs it at Brendan. Today T and I were eating dinner and we heard the garage door start going up. Immediately Tegan sat up straight and started saying "Daddy" and looked all over and whined to be taken out of his high chair so that he could go over to the gate and wait for Brendan. It was TOO cute, but I'm SO jealous!
Riding on the Tonka truck... yeah!!!
Another "word" that Tegan says frequently is "Uh-Oh" (if you want to call that a word). Most mornings I'll get him out of his crib and immediately change his diaper. One of the first things he does after saying "hi" and smiling is proceed to take out his pacifier, drop it over the edge of the changing table and repeat "uh-oh" over and over. It's cute but also annoying because then he keeps trying to roll over and see where the paci went.
Tegan getting a Neb treatment

In the physical development area, Tegan can now stand alone for extended periods of time... yes, we will occasionally see him let go of the couch, table, whatever and just stand there for a minute or so before he isnt' sure what to do an then falls to the floor and crawls to where he wants to go.
First Sucker... sour apple and he loved it!
Ok.. enough typing for tonight. Can you believe T is less than 2 weeks away from his first birthday?! I think I'm gonna cry on his b'day.

Where's Tegan???

Peek-A-Boo!!!

Huffenpuff

That is the name of Tegan's new nebulizer... though the mask he's using is the dragon mask; kinda like Puff the Magic Dragon now that I think about ityes the T-ster will now be taking neb treatments 3x day for the next week or so to help the wheezing he's been experiencing with his cough. No pics of Tegan taking a treatment yet (as he's only had 2) but he's done relatively well considering we have to strap a face mask over an infant and make him breathe in a kinda strange tasting mist for 10 minutes or so... here's a few pics from the website of the product distributor/manufacturer (http://www.thenebdoctors.com/).
They did weigh him at the doctor's office today. He was just shy of 25 pounds, but he did have a wet diaper on, so I'm guessing 24 1/2 or so lbs... haven't checked to see what percentile that is.

In other new, Tegan is now spiritually cleansed. Yesterday he was baptised at the church we've been attending, Shepherd of the Lake, in Prior Lake. It was really cool that our entire immediate family was able to attend (my parents, Brendan's parents, my sis, ALL of Brendan's siblings including his/my brother-in-law and niece).

Well, that's all for now. Take care and God bless!

love to all!

Strike???

I have had a few inquires regarding whether or not I am a member of the the writers' strike that is currently taking place. I would like to remind my loyal readers that I am a resident of Shakopee, MN not Hollywood, CA (or wherever all these writers reside). So, no worries.Having fun w/Daddy
In fact, I have actually been quite busy tending to the needs of the 'man' to whom this blog is dedicated to, aka Tegan. He's been quite fussy over the past 1-1 1/2 weeks with who knows what (cough, cold, runny nose, teething...) Thankfully it seems like the "yuck" has finally vacated his body and he's back to his busy and normal self.
Being silly w/Aunt Amanda
Now, let's see what we can update all on. I can't even remember what I posted last time without checking and I don't feel like doing that, so I'll just write what I'm seeing as recent updates.Playing in the kitchen
Tegan now pushes anything and everything he can all over the main floor of our house. This includes his Fisher Price walk/ride toy he got for Christmas, his push, walk-along and ride Tonka truck and all his wheeled cars. However, this also includes any object you can think of that can slide on a carpeted surface, including (but not limited to) cordless telephones, cell phones, blocks, books, remote controls, balls, diapers, diaper creme tubes, back scratchers and many, many more things.
Below are a few pics of one of Tegan's new favorite things to do... drink from Daddy's Camelback. I was amazed by home much he actually took down! Oh yeah, and also trying to crawl while drinking from and pulling the camelback with him. :)

Last thing I can think of is that Tegan is getting closer and closer to walking. He now "cruises" between the couch, love seat and coffee table in the family/living room. He has also taken a few steps pushing his Fisher Price push/walk/ride-along toy... My guess is that he'll be walking very close to his 1st birthday (which is only 4 weeks away!!!!)

Love to all!!!
