Fifth: What did you think would happen???
OH, word to the wise (apparently I wasn't thinking when I did this) but when introducing your lil' one to baby prunes, go easy on them. I kinda wasn't and now we've got a POOP MACHINE on our hands and they are NOT easy to clean up! Yeah, and for some reason instead of buying the usual 3 2-packs like I've done for all the other baby food, I bought 6! Not sure how or even why, but that's what happened. I guess the good thing is that Tegan loves them, so it's not like he won't eat them when I offer them to him. I think these are from April. Our neighbor Anthony took them. They turned out really well considering the fact that T screamed almost the whole time! :) Otherwise, not much else to tell except I'm trying to transition T to a 4 hr eating schedule and drop a bottle so he's only taking 4 a day instead of 5. We'll see how it goes... Suggestions are welcome! :)
It's now SUPER stinky and a LOVELY thick, peanut butter texture, almost the same color as PB, too. Just think of that the next time you take a bite into a nice big PB&J sandwich! :) If you don't have kids yet, the fun will be all yours to have some day as well.~jenn
In other news, today was Tegan's 4 month doctor appointment. Here's the stats:
17.1 lbs - 89%
25 7/8 in. long - 80%
41.4 cm head circumference - 26%
OH, and we/Tegan got to start eating "solid" food today! Yes, a strange, soupy mixture of rice cereal flakes and breastmilk all mixed up. Only a few spoonfuls (infant spoonfuls that is), but I was pleasantly surprised by how much actually made it into the tummy and not on his face (or mine for that matter). No pictures as Daddy is out of town and really, nothing much to take pictures of anyway. Those will come when the veggies begin :) Love to all and thanks for reading!
